Live Activity widget on the iPhone lock screen: tournament name, level 6, blinds 800/1,600, time remaining, a paused badge and a go-to-tournament button

The clock follows you out of the app. Live on the iPhone lock screen and Dynamic Island — even with the phone in your pocket.

Your Venue’s Own Webpage

Give your poker community a home.

Venue webpage on a laptop: the venue's masthead, announcement and contact links
Venue webpage on iPhone: the weekly schedule with next game dates

Live links cover the night. Your venue webpage covers everything in between: a permanent, public home for your game with the schedule, the standings, tonight’s action and the conversation, at one address your players can check any day of the week.

  • What's on, always current

Your weekly schedule, the next game's countdown and add-to-calendar buttons. Set it up once in the app and the page keeps itself up to date.

  • The league table between game nights

Season standings live on the page permanently, so the midweek argument about who's top happens with the actual numbers in front of everyone.

  • Game night takes over the page

When a tournament is running, the live clock, entries and prize pool appear automatically, with one tap through to the full live tracker.

  • Have your say

Run polls right on the page: buy-in changes, format votes, next season's schedule. Players vote from the link, no app, no sign-in.

One link on the noticeboard. Print the QR poster, stick it on the wall, and every player has the schedule, the standings and tonight’s game in their pocket.
The Stats Engine

Every hand becomes history.

Run the game and the records write themselves. Every result feeds player profiles, season boards, hall-of-fame records and rivalries — nothing typed in, nothing lost.

What is a poker tournament management app?

A poker tournament management app brings the full job of running a tournament into one place. Shuffle Up and Deal! handles tournament setup, blind structures, registration, seating, table balancing, the live clock, rebuys, payouts, player statistics, leagues and displays from the first buy-in to the final payout.

Can I use Shuffle Up and Deal! for home poker tournaments?

Yes. The free Home Game plan is designed for a complete poker night with up to 20 players across 2 tables. It includes the tournament builder, blind clock, smart seating, table balancing and payout calculator, and it works fully offline.

Is Shuffle Up and Deal! free to use?

Yes. The free plan supports one tournament a week for up to 20 players across 2 tables. Paid plans add capabilities such as big-screen casting, leagues, cloud sync, TURNER, larger events and more signed-in devices, with live share links and venue ledgers on TD Pro and above.

What devices do I need?

You only need an iPhone or iPad. The same app adapts to both, with a swipeable tournament display on iPhone and a full tournament dashboard on iPad. You can also use an AirPlay television or projector as a professional room display.

Do my players need the app?

No. Only the tournament director needs the app. Players can follow the casted room display, and live share links let players, dealers and spectators view the clock, seating, field and standings in a browser without installing anything or creating an account.

Does the app include a poker tournament clock and blind timer?

Yes. The tournament clock advances blind levels automatically, counts down scheduled breaks, supports mid-game adjustments and can show the live level on the iPhone lock screen and Dynamic Island. Optional sound and voice announcements also work offline.

Can Shuffle Up and Deal! balance poker tables automatically?

Yes. The seating engine handles the opening draw, late arrivals, waitlists, table balancing, table breaks and an optional final-table redraw. It explains proposed moves before you confirm them, while manual moves and undo remain available whenever the tournament director wants the final say.

Can I manage rebuys, re-entries, add-ons and late registration?

Yes. Set the registration window, re-entry or rebuy limits and add-on rules during tournament setup. The app enforces those settings, allocates new seats and keeps entries, chips in play, average stack and the prize pool up to date.

Does the app calculate poker tournament payouts?

Yes. Every buy-in, re-entry and add-on is recorded in a live financial ledger. The app keeps fees separate, recalculates the prize pool as the field changes and supports custom payouts, guarantees, cash added, non-cash prizes, refunds and adjustments.

Is Shuffle Up and Deal! a gambling app?

No. Shuffle Up and Deal! is an organisational tool for tournament directors, like a scorekeeper and stopwatch for poker night. You cannot play poker in the app, place bets through it or move money with it. No real-money play, wagering or gaming of any kind happens in the app.

Does the app handle buy-ins, prize money or payments?

No money passes through the app. The financial ledger and payout calculator are record-keeping tools: they track figures the tournament director enters and calculate how a prize pool could be divided. The app never collects buy-ins, holds funds, processes payments or pays out winnings.

Can I run a poker league and leaderboard?

Yes. Create leagues and seasons, choose a fixed or field-size-based points system and award points live as players are eliminated. Season and all-time leaderboards update automatically and can be exported as an image or PDF.

Can multiple tournament directors run one event together?

Yes. Sign in on several devices and work on the same live tournament. One person can manage registration while another handles table moves or eliminations, with every iPhone and iPad kept in sync and destructive actions protected from staff collisions.

Can I cast the poker tournament clock to a television?

Yes. Use an iPad as a dedicated on-device tournament display or cast the display to an AirPlay television or projector. The room display can show the clock, blinds, seating, registration, break countdowns, live statistics, table draws and elimination animations.

Does Shuffle Up and Deal! work without an internet connection?

Yes. The app is local-first, so the clock, seating, registration and payouts keep working in venues with poor or no internet. Signed-in accounts sync and back up changes when a connection becomes available again.

How is this different from a basic poker tournament clock app?

A basic clock app shows the time and blind level. Shuffle Up and Deal! runs the whole tournament, including setup, registration, seating, balancing, table breaks, re-entries, payouts, player histories, league standings, external displays, live share links and tournament director tools.

What is TURNER?

TURNER is the built-in AI assistant for tournament directors. It answers rules questions with tappable citations from the official TDA rules, walks through disputes step by step and can follow captured house rules. It provides guidance, but the tournament director's ruling remains final.

Is my tournament and player data safe?

Tournaments live on the device first, with cloud backup and cross-device sync on paid plans, plus manual backup files you can export and keep. Player, venue and league names are replaced with anonymous tokens before an AI request leaves the device, so real names are not sent to the AI service.

What is on the roadmap?

Android is next. The app also receives regular updates shaped by feedback from working tournament directors. The in-app contact form goes directly to the team building it, and many current features began as requests from tournament directors.
